Looking for places to stay and things to do in the area? You’re in luck, because there are a lot of options in and around Pisgah Forest.
If you’re coming from farther away, it is often easiest to fly to Asheville Regional Airport. AVL has daily flights from Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Newark, Philadelphia, Washington DC, plus other weekly flights around the country. The airport works with multiple rental car agencies.

- DuPont State Forest is just 10 minutes from campus, full of beautiful waterfalls and home to some of the best mountain biking around!
- Looking Glass, Sliding Rock, Black Balsam, John’s Rock, Pink Beds, and the NC Cradle of Forestry are just a few of the recommended places to hike and explore in Pisgah National Forest.
- Head on up to the Blue Ridge Parkway if you’re looking for a drive full of spectacular views.
