OUR PROGRAMS GROW WITH YOUR CHILD

Campers can begin their journey at Eagle’s Nest by participating in the traditional camp program for 1 – 3 weeks. As they age they can explore additional programs including one week long Added Adventures that spice up a traditional session of camp or two to three week Hante Adventures for teens to hone their outdoor skills while gaining confidence and learning more about themselves and the outdoors.

HANTE ADVENTURES

Step outside, find yourself

Hante Adventures are for teenagers eager for a fun outdoor experience that will help them reach a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. By backpacking, rock climbing, and canoeing in some of the world’s most beautiful natural environments, teens build confidence and self-esteem, learn invaluable leadership skills and form friendships that last a lifetime. JUNIOR COUNSELORS

Learn about teaching and caring for others

Junior counselors are rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning about being counselors. Twelve JCs are chosen for each camp session to help the counselors teach and supervise campers. Junior Counselors are participants who receive leadership training and community service hours for their work at camp. Learn more about our Junior Counselor program here!

Added Adventures

Venture away from camp for a week of adventure.  Explore the mountains, river, or beach- the choice is yours!

Added Adventure campers travel to special destinations during the session to enhance their outdoor skills and explore new places — from the banks of the French Broad River to the beaches of South Georgia. Stay tuned for updates on our Added Adventures for Summer 2024.
