Whenever I consider spending money on a big ticket item I remember the iconic Mastercard “Priceless” campaign. The ad series listed the costs of various items, then concluded with an experience or emotion that was “priceless,” implying that some things are beyond monetary value. At Eagle’s Nest Camp, we believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the joy, growth, and connection that camp offers; these experiences are truly invaluable, but they do come at a cost. We’re committed to making these opportunities accessible to every child.

Spending time away from screens, making lifelong friends, and learning to navigate the natural world—these are experiences that help children build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Investing in camp means giving children the opportunity to explore who they are and connect deeply with others, skills that stay with them long after summer ends.

However, we know that financial considerations can be a barrier, and we’re committed to making camp accessible for families year after year. We work with families and offer financial aid to bridge the gap between what they can afford and the full cost of camp. Last summer we were able to offer over $147,000 in financial aid with awards varying from $500 – $4,500. Were also able to support families with discounts, monetary recruiting incentives, payment plans and a gear leading library filled with quality outdoor clothing and gear for our participants use.

If you’ve ever wondered whether camp might be within reach for your family, we encourage you to explore our financial aid options:https://www.enf.org/camp/financial-aid/ or by contacting Molly at molly@enf.org or 336-761-1040. The deadline to apply for aid is December 1st, and our team is here to help answer any questions you may have about the application process. We’re here to make sure that every child who wants to experience camp has the chance to be a part of our Eagle’s Nest family.
