It’s that time of year again – time to dream of where we’d like to go for our Hante Adventures 2021. There are so many exciting possibilities! Veteran Hante leader and Outdoor Academy faculty member, Rodrigo Vargas, is already considering traveling with a group to Ireland or Demark and Iceland. Can you imagine how fabulous it would be to explore the Faroe Islands – an archipelago between Denmark and Iceland!
Over the years Hantes have adventured across the United States and abroad. We’ve hiked thousands of miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to the terminus in Maine. We’ve climbed in the Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, and of course in our backyard in the Southeast. We’ve paddled in Canada, the Boundary Waters, the Pacific Northwest, and the Everglades. We’ve experienced the cultures of New Zealand, Australia, Mexica, Ghana, Iceland, Spain, Australia, Scotland, and many other foreign lands. Each trip has been filled with friendship, challenge, outdoor skill development, and awe-inspiring moments in nature.
