OA: It’s time to Circle Up!
Can you believe that it’s been nearly 10 years since we’ve had a 5-year OA reunion on campus? While our Virtual “25th+1” celebration in 2021 had incredible support and engagement from our community around the world, we’re beyond excited to welcome back our nearly 1400 alumni, dozens of former faculty members, and their loved ones to Pisgah Forest. It’ll be an extra special welcome for the 429 young alumni who have graduated from OA since the last in person reunion in 2016.
Please share this page with your semester’s group chat, Instagram/Facebook page, or email list. We’ll keep it up-to-date with important information as the weekend gets closer. Let’s see how many folks we can get back to Eagle’s Nest to celebrate this amazing milestone for our school.
Whether you’re an alum or former faculty member from Semester 1, Semester 59, or any of the incredible semesters in between, we can’t wait to see you in April.
The Big Day
Get ready for an incredible Spring day in Pisgah Forest filled with key OA traditions and time to reconnect with past, current, and future friends and mentors.
There will be Work Crews around campus, skill shares and games, community meals, a Craft Auction, and of course, Goodnight Circle. From the Forge to Morning Watch, we’ll incorporate the highlights of OA semesters over the years while also finding balance with moments of quiet reflection on this beautiful campus.
This schedule is an overview of what the day will bring. We’ll be sending out more details about different activities to registrants in April.

Registration & Questions
Registration is now open! General admission tickets (for ages 13+) are $80. If you do not pre-register the ticket cost for day-of arrival is $100. Families are more than welcome to attend, including children. Just make sure there is at least one chaperone for every 4 minors (anyone under 18). Each attendee (or parent/guardian) will need to complete this waiver before attending, so make sure you’ve completed that step as soon as possible.
Volunteer Opportunities: Like in past years, our volunteers are what make these reunions possible! Let us know if you are interested in volunteering.
Other Questions? Visit the FAQ page as a starting point, then reach out to to Camille Wick, our Alumni Relations Coordinator (alumni@enf.org).
30 for 30 Speaker Series
We invite you to join us each Wednesday in April for a virtual, 30 minute “E Sem” – Environmental Seminar – specially curated for our OA alumni and the Eagle’s Nest Foundation community. This series of conversations will explore Craft, Intellect, Environment, and Community with noteworthy environmentalists, artists, educators, community organizers, and business leaders. Facilitated by OA’s Director, Jesse Pyles, each live interview session will be followed by a brief Q&A featuring questions submitted by the community.
Speakers: Noam Pikelny (April 2), Dawn Chávez (April 9), Bill McKibben (April 16), Kate Stephenson (April 23), Jim Merkel (April 30)
Choose your preferred sessions, or attend all five! Register now to receive the Zoom links and submit questions you have for the speakers.
